Greenisland Galacticos march on with a convincing 11-3 win at home to Whitehead Trojans, a win that keeps them top on frame difference from 39ERS who also romped home in style, 10-4 against Teddy Bears. Greenisland WMSC move up to 3rd beating Eastway by 9-5 and to complete a fine week for the three Greenisland teams, Barbarians earned a credible draw away to Paul Roberts' strong Swift outfit with captain Michael Lowry taking out an 8 ball clearance in the first of his 2 wins. The visitors trailed 2-5 at the interval but roared back to claim a point.Tyler McConnell notched up his second hat trick of the season with Jack Lee also hitting a maximum. Hit Men and Her are back on track moving up to 4th after a solid win at home to The Scorpions, Andy McMeekin scored a hat trick for the hosts, as did Clem Howard for the visitors. Spartans, although still unbeaten, slip down to 5th after their second consecutive draw. Again they had to come from behind, this time from 4-7, to take a point off Hugh McMurtrys Cowboys. Robert Hawkins for the hosts and Chris Carson for Cowboys both registered fine hat tricks on the night. Alpha and Warriors had a very tight encounter ending in a draw, Alpha led 7-6 but it was Mary McCourt who won frame 14 to rescue a point for Warriors.
