A massive well done to the Northern Ireland Mens B1 Team who have just been crowned 2012 EBA Nations Cup Champions.
Under the guidance of Carrick & District Pool League Chairman Derek Whiteside, they beat Wales 17-14 in an enthralling Final in the Carlton Hotel, Dublin. Also representing Carrick League were regular Carrick Interleague players Paul Roberts, Trevor Whiteside, Ady Toner, Dee Irwin, Jonny Johnston and Greenisland new season debutante Rab McCullough. Its a just reward for Derek who has been so committed in his quest for success on the European stage and the team spirit he has installed in his squad is second to done. Well done lads.
