Scorpions’ Paul Kerr tonight defeated Tigers’ Davy Montgomery 4-1 in the Times Bar in the postponed preliminary round of the SKC Gaming Masters Pool Championships. This was postponed due to Paul winning the seniors competition on the night of the prelims.
Paul went on to defeat Rockets’ Davy Blair 4-1. In the first round.
Paul Kerr will face Scorpions’ Gerry McCrorry in the quarterfinals next Monday. On Sunday this week Paul reached the final of the Northern Ireland Masters.

Trojans’ Joe Patton defeated reigning champion, Q Club’s Kenny English 4-2 to reach the semis where he plays Q Club’s Alan Johnston.
