League Champions, the Greenisland Galacticos, changed tables for the evening as they played stable mates, Greenisland Colts. With a semi-final spot in the Knockout Cup secured, the Champions were able to relax and enjoy the evening’s pool. Trailing 2-5 at the break, Harry Warrick’s lads showed more of their continued improvement as they narrowly lost the second session 3-4. Best for the hosts D McCandless 2/3, H Warrick 2/3 and, for the visitors, T Whiteside 3/3, C Carson 3/3, J McLean2/3.

League leaders, The Swift, travelled to Whitehead to take on the league grinders, The Trojans. Tristin Scott Hayes must have thought he was living out Groundhog Day as he found himself in the same position as last time his team turned out at home - 7 nil down at the break. There was to be no happy ending this time as The Swift showed why they have been leading the table from day one, winning the second session 5-2. Best for the visitors R Butler 3/3, P Roberts 3/3, S Mc Clean 2/2 and A Arbuthnot 2/3.

The Doagh Weapons hosted 2012 champions, the Whitehead Spartans, hoping to keep their 100% record going and stay in touch at the top. A tight first session saw the visitors hold a slight 4-3 lead at the break. After the break, with 3 to play, the Weapons got their noses in front 6-5. With a strong line up still to play, Tyler McConnell must have been confident of a point at least. However the Spartans weren’t in the mood for sharing as William Irvine, Kenny English and Robert Hawkins ran home the last 3 for all of the points as the visitors moved to third the table. Best for the hosts C Laughlin 2/2, R McCullough 2/3, I Britton 2/3. For the visitors K English 3/3, S McWhirter 2/2, W Irvine 2/3.

The Scorpions, hoping to get back to winning ways, played host to Clare Roberts’ improving Warriors. Darren Whiteside carried on where he left off last time out, scoring another fine hat-trick with M McIlvenny getting his season up and running with a nice brace. The Scorpions won both sessions 5-2 & 4-3, new Warriors signing T Kidd got his season going with a brace and Gee Crawley chipped in with a cameo 1/1.

The Eastway team hosted the Hit Men & Her. After throwing points away last time out the Eastway lads hoped to get back on track with home advantage. It wasn’t to be as a full strength HM&H fresh, from their cup win in Doagh, ran out the first session 5-2 and the second 4-3 with fine hat-tricks from A McMeekin & P Henderson and manager R Hendersonwith a brace.

Knockout cup semi-finalists, the Teddy Bears, played host to Mark Kitson’s Alpha. After holding their own with their recent run of fixtures, D McIlwaine's Teddy Bears must have thought they had 3 points in the bag leading 5-2 at the break. However, the Alpha team dug deep and won the second session 5-2 to take a share of the points with Angie Willis holding her nerve in the last. Best for the hosts R Williams 2/2 and for the visitors J McComb 2/3 A Carson 2/3, A Willis 2/3.

After stealing a point last time out, the Greenisland Working Men’s Club travelled to Knockout Cup semi-finalists the Cowboys. The hosts, buoyed by their cup success, won the opening 4 frames before leading 5-2 at the break. Glen Burns had a word, and his lads responded, winning 5 out of the next 6 frames and a chance to steal all the points, only for J McMurtry to salvage a point for the Cowboys.
