It's as you were at the top of the City Air Express Carrick & District Pool League. Galacticos had a resounding 10-4 win away to HM&H in what was a potential banana skin fixture for the League leaders. Cowboys had a 14-0 win over 39ERS and Swift ground out an 8-6 away win over Scorpions, with Rab Butler getting the visitors over the line. Spartans move up to 4th after a 10-4 (5-2, 5-2) home win against Warriors who now go bottom off the table. Eastway came from 5-7 down to earn a point at home to Trojans whilst Barbarians won 9-5 (4-3, 5-2) against Teddy Bears with hat tricks for John Barrons and Craig Laughlin. But the best performance off the night was probably by Alpha who have been bottom ofe the table most of the season. They travelled down to Greenisland where they held the hosts to a 7-7 draw as they fight out the wooden spoon position with Warriors.
