With Galacticos match postponed Cowboys took full advantage thrashing Eastway 12-2 to move four points clear at the top of the table. But 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams Swift, Spartans and GWMSC done themselves no favours as they all lost. Swift went down 6-8 away to Whitehead Trojans in the shock result of the night, whilst Spartans left themselves an uphill battle in the second session after losing the first 1-6 at 39ERS. Spartans won 5-2 in the second half but the hosts took all 3 points. There were hat tricks for Kyle Kirkwood (39ERS) and Eddie Gribben (Spartans). GWMSC suffered their heaviest defeat of the campaign, a 2-12 reverse against Jonny Thompson's Scorpions. Rab Henderson's HM&H overcame Barbarians 9-5 in Monkstown to move joint 4th in the table on points with Spartans and last but not least Teddy Bears took all three points back down the road to Carrick after a narrow 8-6 win away to Alpha in Rathcoole. Hero for the Bears was Rab McMaw with a fine treble.
