Its as you were at the top of the CITY AIR EXPRESS Carrick & District Pool League as the top 6 all won. Swift thrashed 39ERS 10-4 with Dee Irwin notching up a hat trick. It was tight at the interval with Swift leading narrowly 4-3 but they won the second session 6-1 for an impressive victory over a strong 39ERS team. League leaders Galacticos strolled to an easy win over bottom team Alpha whilst Cowboys, making their home debut in the Swift Bar, overcame Whitehead Trojans 12-2 with hat tricks a piece for the Carson brothers Chris and Steven and manager Hugh McMurtry. In a match of two halves in Whitehead, Spartans led 7-0 after the first session but were glad to get over the line, as Scorpions staged a comeback winning the second session 5-2. HM&H had a comfortable 12-2 away win down at Teddy Bears, whilst GWMSC laboured for an 8-6 away win over second bottom team Warriors. And last but not least honours were shared up in Rathcoole as Eastway and Barbarians played out an exciting 7-7 draw.
