Scorpions got off to a bad start away to Swift losing the first 4 frames. And although they fought hard to bring it back to only 4-6 down, Swift had too much firepower and ran out 9-5 winners on the night with Jack Lee notching a hat trick for the hosts. Galacticos entertained HM&H for the second night running and again it was the home side who edged the win through Shaun McAlister in the vital last frame. Cowboys good run continues, they trailed away to 39ERS by 4-3 at the interval but won the second session 6-1 to run out 9-5 victors. Peter McCaffrey had a treble for the Cowboys. Eastway move off the bottom off the table after they went down to 5th placed Trojans in Whitehead and came away with all 3 points. The Rathcoole team won both sessions 5-2 with Lee McCord scoring 3/3. Best for Trojans was Neil McFaul also with 3/3. Spartans move up from 8th to 5th after a comfortable win away to Warriors. Session scores were 4-3 and 6-1 for the Whitehead team with Stephen Johnston notching a hat trick and new signing Eddie Gribben scoring 2/2 on his debut. Audrey Jones also had a fine 2/2 for the Warriors. GWMSC kept in touch at the top and sent Alpha to the bottom off the table after a 12-2 away win. Michael Lowry's Barbarians are now 5 points clear off their nearest challengers in 9th spot after a solid 9-5 win at Teddy Bears. Session scores were 4-3 and 5-2 to the Barbars with Lowry himself and Pearce Sharratt both scoring 2/2.
