Rockers 10-4 Spartans
These two teams, both hoping to wrestle the title away from holders Castle, clashed at Jacqs Bar in Carrickfergus. Spartans started well with J.Kane clearing the table from his first visit. But  3 in a row from Rockers stars R.Butler, D.Whiteside and G.McCorry on his debut gave the hosts a 2 frame lead. McWhirter and English notched up 2 frames for the visitors but a fine clearance from young S.Carson gave John McClean's Rockers a slender 4-3 interval lead. But only 4 frames later the destiny of the 3 points was certain, as wins from Butler, Whiteside, McCorry and Carson kept Rockers top off the League Table. Spartans had carved out their chances in every frame, but when the Rockers got to the table they took out some delightful finishes. Further wins from McClean and Butler either side of an exquisite break and dish from E.McDowell opened up a 3 point gap in the table for the home side. Best for Rockers was R.Butler on 3/3 followed closely by D.Whiyeside and S.Carson on 2/2

Barbarians 10-4 Greenisland
Barbarians stormed out of the blocks into a 6 frame lead courtesy of wins from S.Mitchell, P.Gingles x2, G.Harrington, M.Devlin and a marathon from H.Regan. G.Burns got 1 on the board for the visitors to reduce the scoreline to 6-1 for the hosts. But the 3 points were soon in the bag for the hosts as further frames from Mitchell, Harrington and Gingles took it up to 9-1. Greenisland Captain H.Warwick and G.Burns (after a 9 ball rerack) reduced the deficit to 9-3. The next 2 frames were shared, Regan for Barbarians and W.Morrison for the GI's. Best on the night for the home side was P.Gingles on 3/3, G.Burns registering 2/3 for the visitors
