The City Air Express Carrick & District Pool League 2009/2010 season came to a close with our End of Season Prizegiving, which was held in Whitehead Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club. It was a fantastic evening with great entertainment in the form of "Harv" from East Belfast and a tremendous spread of food. Thanks to everyone involved from Committee level to Team Managers and to all the Players who helped make it another very successful season.
But already the grapevine is rife about new signings to strengthen teams and maybe even a couple of new teams coming into the League. Can Castle defend their title ? Can anyone stop the Rockers winning the Home & Away Cup for the 3rd time in a row or Castle the Knockout Shield for the 3rd time in succession ? Can Harry Warwick get Greenisland out off the Wooden Spoon position ? And can Carrick bring home the Interleague Trophy. All these questions and more will be answered during the much anticipated 2010/2011 Season.
