With some great pool on display it was the pairing of SaraLou and Richard who went down in history as the first CDPL Mixed Doubles champions. Well done to both and thank you to all who took part.
On Wednesday 25th March the Carrick and district pool league held their inaugural Mixed doubles championships in Greenisland Working Men’s Club.
Teams were randomly drawn together and after a gruelling night the finalists emerged.
Colin Beckinsale (Colts) and Wendy Long (Pink Ladies) took on Richard Kitson (Grange) and SaraLou Graham (Pink Ladies). Donald score colin/Wendy 2 Richard/SarahLou 5.
