It's the last Carrick Pool League sponsored by SKC Gaming league match reports of the season before Christmas.
This was a very close affair and the match rocked from one team to another. At half time it was 4/3 Trojans but the Rockets stormed back to make it 6/6. Trojans sensed a win against the top four was on the cards and pushed hard to take the last two frames. Final score 8/6 Trojans mvp Stuart Kelly 3/3.

It was an enjoyable night as the Bowlers hosted Galacticos, some decent craic and laughs all round.
At the end of the first half Galacticos led 7-0, although a few frames easily could have gone either way. It was frame 10 before the Bowlers took a frame, Gareth McIlwrath winning against Neil McFaul with a nice clearance to finish. Paul Ford won the 12th frame against Paul Harris taking the bowlers to 2 frames. Galacticos mopped up the last 2 frames but not without a fight from Max Reilly and Ian Reilly. Best performers from Galacticos were Gary Wallace 3/3 and Trevor Whiteside 3/3 with Paul Harris, Neil McFaul and Derek Whiteside taking 2 frames each.
A lot of very close frames on the night, final score Bowlers 2 – Galacticos 12.
