- MSC Trojans built on their good away win at 2nd place Spartans the previous night with a convincing win over bottom team Alpha in this re-arranged League match. The visitors started well taking 2 out of the first 5 frames but that was the last of their scoring as Trojans turned on the style with 9 in a row. There were hat tricks for Captain Rab Brown and Rab McMaw. Davy Montgomery bagged 2/2. John Robinson registered both wins for Alpha. Trojans remain in 7th, but are now only a point behind Jonny Thompson's Scorpions.
