A massive well done to our own Sara Greenberg who has just become the 2013 Northern Ireland Ladies Individual Champion. Backed by Newtownabbey Borough Council, Sara took the title in the Primacy Sports Bar, Bangor on Sunday 9th December. It's been a fantastic week for the Rathcoole girl, after her win as part of the Monkstown HM&H Team in the Carrick and District Pool League Knock Out Cup. Her win guarantee's her automatic selection onto the Northern Ireland Ladies 'A' Team travelling to the European Championships in March 2013. Sara, who is currently ranked No 2 in Northern Ireland, made her way to the Final with 5-2, 5-1 and 5-2 wins. waiting for her Alex Babb from Newtowards and what a great final it was. Sara led 4-2 before Alex came storming back to level at 4-4 and take the match into a 9th and deciding frame. But Sara held her nerve to pot the final black of the competition and become the 2013 Ladies Blackball Champion.
