. Rockers and Castle battled out a 7-7 draw in the big match of the week in Whiteabbey RBL. But even though it was a well earned point away from home, Castle may still be feeling they should have won as they led 7-5 with 2 frames left to play. Larne man Shaun McAllister won the all important 14th frame for the Rockers.
. Champions the Spartans were lucky to leave Monkstown with a point as they trailed Rab Browns improving MSC Trojans 5-7 with only 2 to play. Top of the pots were Davy Montgomery and Kyle Kirkwood for the hosts both on 2/2. For Spartans Ed McDowell, Robert Hawkins and Kenny English all scored 2/2.
. Hit Men & Her missed a good chance to go joint top off the table when they lost the last 2 frames at Whitehead Trojans as yet another match ended in a 7-7 draw. Tristan Scott-Heyes bagged a hat trick for the Trojans as did Paul Henderson for the away side.
. Greenisland in 4th, are in their highest League position for a long time, courtesy of a 9-5 win over newcomers Jolly Beggar. Potting sensation Rab McCullough bagged yet another hat trick as the confidence in Harry Warwick's team grows by the week.
. And Jonny Thompson's Scorpions move quietly up into 3rd spot after a 9-5 win at Barbarians. The Barbars are still rooted to the bottom of the table still awaiting their first point of the season.
. Warriors won 8-6 at Alpha to move comfortably away from the bottom of the table, as did Andy Lindsay's Teddy Bears at home to Tom Larmour's Eastway. The Cowboys had a bye this week.
