Titans close the gap on Scorpions at the top of the league


Times Bar Scorpions welcomed the Q Club. Captain Lee McIlreavy led from the front with a lovely finish.Aaron Leslie’s pool brain doubled the Scorpions lead and Stephen Johnston made it 3. The next four frames were shared. Jason Voorhees and Ciaran OToole chipping in for Q Club and David Blair and another from Stephen Johnston gave the Scorpions a commanding lead at half time. Two captains met in the 8th frame and what looked like a blistering break and dish from Lee McIlreavey before the white dropped in the pocket after the black to give William Irvine the frame. Jason Vorhees took his second of the night as did David Blair. Mark Abram brought the arrears to 6-5 before, man of the match, Stephen Johnston put the Scorpions on the hill with his hat trick. Lee McIlreavy ensured the points before Paul Kerr finished the night with a cool break and dish. Times Bar Scorpions 9 -5 This result sees the Scorpions remain at the top of the league for another week.

Titans had a massive win of 13-1 v Stadium and reduced their frame difference with Scorpions at the top.

Galacticos had a hard fought victory against legion and are still within touching distance of the top two.

Spartans won 9-5 over Colts.

Grange and Railway Blues had an epic 7-7 draw.

Bay City Bowlers took the points with an 11-3 win over pink ladies.

Tigers had 11-3 win over Trojans
