The Carrick & District Pool League, sponsored by SKC Gaming NI will commence on 2nd September as the League Champions, Greenisland Galacticos take on the Knock Out Cup Champions, Railway Blues in Greenisland Workingmens Club. The last time these two met it was the Railway Blues who came out victorious in an epic final.
This Charity Shield opener for the league will showcase what we are all about. Fun and friendly competition.
Our Charity of the year is
Macmillan Cancer and we hope to raise some funds on the night so please make an effort to join the teams in person and donate your spare change on the night.
The first full league fixture of the new season will be on 9th September.
This year we welcome a new team from Belfast's Shankill Road, Stadium Bar.
The amount of pool trophies around the cabinets in this venue tells us that they will mean business from day one.
