Minutes from AGM

The Carrick and District Pool League sponsored by SKC Gaming will held their AGM on Tuesday 1st August in Greenisland WWMC.

In attendance were representatives from Scorpions, Colts, Tigers, Galacticos, Rockets 2B, Rab & Big T's Rockets, Q Club, Qe2 Cubs, Spartans, Trojans, Railway Inn. Apologies were received from Bowlers.

Minutes of the 2022/23 AGM were accepted as an accurate reflection.

CDPL Constitution was agreed.

Treasurer, Harry Warwick provided an open report of the league's finances.

Secretary, Darren Whiteside provided the secretary report.

Chairman, Derek Whiteside provided his report and welcomed old and new teams into the league.

Election of the 2023/24 Committee were proposed and seconded to continue in the coming season

12 teams registered for the coming season: Scorpions, Colts, Tigers, Galacticos, Rockets 2B, Rab & Big T's Rockets, Q Club, Qe2 Cubs, Spartans, Trojans, Railway Inn and Bowlers.

Amber Castle Entertainment have kindly agreed to sponsor the Harbour Cup. 

Q Club have kindly agreed to sponsor the Open individuals.

Andy Quinn agreed to sponsor trophies for the u23's individuals.

We welcome any other offers to sponsor ant of our other cups/shields.

 
Charity of the year 2023/24 will be Macmillan Cancer Services

League Opener 22nd August will be the Charity Shield

The QE2 Cubs (an u18 pool academy team) will be permitted to play in league matches from the QE2 but not in bars. They will be given all home matches.

Teams will be levied 5 end of season tickets for the presentation night.
