Harbour Cup (Times Bar)
Congratulations to Times Tigers on winning The Harbour Cup, sponsored by Times Bar.
Tiger’s ace, Ray Crowe got the ball rolling. John Fulton and Chris Carson soon made it 3. Vikings boys dug deep as Alan Johnston, Thomas Fleming and Ian McAlmont levelled the scores at 3-3. Tigers Captain, Davy Montgomery took the final frame in the first half. Ray Crowe, Chris Carson, Alan Corrigan and John Fulton played some solid pool and the Tigers roared to a convincing 8-3 victory and their second piece of silverware of the season. Many thanks to Times Bar for hosting the final.
Next Tuesday 11th June sees the last action of the Carrick & District Pool League Sponsored by Times Bar. Scorpions take on Trojans in what promises to be an epic match. Get down to the Times Bar early for the best seats.
The end of season awards night takes place in Greenisland Working Mens Club on Friday 14th June at 8.00pm. Everyone is welcome.
