CITYAIREXPRESS Carrick & District Pool League 2017-2018 season League Schedule came to its' conclusion last night. Newly elected Champions The Scorpions celebrated their fantastic achievement at home in the Times Bar but credit to Whitehead Trojans who stormed back from 2-6 down to earn a point in a 7-7 draw. Doagh Dragons cemented the Runners Up position but were also held to a 7-7 draw by the improving Times Tigers in McConnells Bar. A great season for Rab Brown's Ballbreakers ended with an 8-6 derby win over Galacticos in Greenisland, a result that secured a very credible third place finish. Girvan Fleming's Vikings finished their campaign off with a solid 9-5 win over Greenisland Colts in Whitehead for a seventh placed finish and last but not least Hit Men & Her finished fourth after a good second half to the season concluded with an 11-3 win away to Alpha.

BIG PAUL RETAINS PLAYER OF THE YEAR TITLE

Congratulations to Paul Kerr. The Scorpions' cueist has retained the LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE YEAR title after another fantastic season. There were also great seasons for Johnny Mackay (Dragons), Andy Arbuthnot (Trojans) and Chris Carson (Ballbreakers). Top 4 as follows -
