Newly crowned Champions The Scorpions suffered only their second defeat of the season away to Doagh Dragons who are now three points clear of their nearest rivals in the race for the Runners Up spot. Dragons led 4-3 at the break but moved into top gear winning six from the seven second session frames. In the Greenisland derby match it was Glenn Burns's Colts who took the honours with a solid 10-4 success, they led 8-1 after nine racks to guarantee all three points. In the Whitehead Rangers Club derby match Vikings led 5-3, trailed 5-7 then fought back for a well earned point in a 7-7 draw, Matt Thompson winning the all important fourteenth frame. Robert Henderson's Hit Men & Her were too strong on the night for Ball Breakers winning 9-5 in the Monkstown Social Club. Last but not least Times Tigers had a comfortable night at home to Alpha winning by 11-3 in North Belfast
