Another fantastic week of action in the Carrick & District Pool League seen the top three teams all draw. Dragons led Trojans 3-0 in Doagh but the Whitehead team came storming back to lead 4-3 at the interval and 7-6 with one to play. Up stepped Dragons captain Kyle Kirkwood with a fine clearance to give both teams a point a piece. In the Times Bar the visitors Ball Breakers trailed 3-1 but like Trojans they too came back to lead 4-3 at half time and 7-6 with one to play. This time it was Gary Wallace who saved the day for Scorpions to keep his team joint top of the table. In another exciting match Hit Men & Her minus the Henderson brothers raced into an unlikely 7-1 lead away to Champions Galacticos in Greenisland but the hosts stormed back to take all six remaining frames, Paul Harris winning Frame 14 which at the business end of the season could maybe prove vital. Girvan Fleming's Vikings made it two wins from four with a tight 8-6 success over League debutantes Times Tigers, Craig Johnston and Ian McCalmont winning the final two racks from 6-6. And last but not least Greenisland Colts got their first three points of the season with a solid win over Alpha. Colts trailed 5-4 but rallied to take five on the trot for a 9-5 scoreline.
