CITYAIREXPRESS Carrick & District Pool League 2015/2016 Season will get underway on Tuesday 15th September. Although we have lost five teams in the Cowboys, Eastway, Warriors, Weapons and the Teddy Bears we will have 11 in total with newcomers the Vikings and McConnells joining our ranks.The fixtures have been drawn out and Week 1 is as follows -

Whitehead Vikings v Galacticos
Trojans v Scorpions
Swift may start favourites to defend the title they won in style last season but Paul Roberts can expect big challenges from new boys McConnells, Galacticos and last seasons Runners Up, Scorpions. Hit Men & Her and Greenisland WMSC are capable of upseting anyone on their day and with three teams playing out of Whitehead Rangers Club this season, rivalry in the seaside town will be high. Bottom two Alpha and Colts will hope to improve on last years finishing positions. It all adds up to an exciting season ahead, good luck to every team and every player.

Greenisland Galacticos 8-1 Swift
Galacticos made a big statement of intent tonight by thrashing League Champions the Swift 8-1 in the first match of the new season, the Charity Shield.
