The Swift continued their march to the title with a convincing win over a very strong Doagh Weapons side. After a tight first session with the visitors going into the break only 1 frame a drift and a very strong line up to follow, an upset looked to be on the cards.  However the champions elect turned on the style in the second half with Rab Butler completing a well taken hat-trick, taking the session 6-1.  Jeff Moore took the last frame of the evening bringing to an end a 26 frame winning streak for Dee Irwin. Best for the hosts Paul Roberts 2/2, Andy Arbuthnot 2/2 Dee Irwin 2/3 and for the hosts Rab McCullough 2/3.

Second placed Scorpions travelled to take on the Teddy Bears and had a pretty comfortable evening with session wins of 5-2 & 7 nil.  Paul Kerr continued his fine form with another well taken hat-trick, Colin Rafferty got back on the hat-trick trail and an all round team performance completed by the Darrens of Whiteside & Haddock with fine braces. Best for the hosts Adam Moore 2/3

The Hitmen & Her played host to The Cowboys looking to secure third place.  They went about their work in procession style with the loss of only 2 frames. Paul Henderson, Tom McCorry and manager Robert Henderson all with well taken hat-tricks and Andy McMeekin 2/3.

The Whitehead Spartans entertained The Greenisland Workings Mens's Club. A tighter than expected match saw the visitors go into the break 4-3 up. The second half saw Andy Mackay complete a well taken hat-trick for the visitors but too many chances were given away and the hosts took full advantage to take the match 8-6. William Irvine recorded another fine hat-trick with Kenny English 2/3 and Stephen McWhirter 2/2 and for the visitors Joe Patton 2/3.

The Alpha played host to The Whitehead Trojans and after recent results found themselves in strange territory 5-2 up at the break. Trojans Manager Tristin Scott Hays made the decision to play those players with success in the first half twice in the second and his call paid off with his team grinding themselves over the line 8-6. Best for the hosts Norman McAllister 2/2 and Johnny Blair 2/3. Olly Arnold and Chris Hobson both with well taken match winning hat-tricks for the visitors.

The Greenisland Colts travelled to take on the Warriors.  A tight first session saw the visitors 4-3 up at the break. The Warriors took the first 2 of the second half to take a 5-4 lead before a 3 frame burst including a well taken finish from Alan Blane put the visitors on the hill and a chance to put last week’s whitewash behind them.  However Gee Crawley and manager Clare Roberts made sure of a share of the points. Best for the hosts Clare Roberts 2/2, Gee Crawley 2/3 and Stewart Lennon 2/3 and for the visitors Colin Beckinsdale 2/3.

No report card was available for the Galacticos v Eastway
For the hosts P Harris, J McClean and Chris Carson all 2/3 and for the visitors T Greer 3/3 and D Flanagan 2/3.
