The Champions travelled to Monkstown to take on a very in-form Hit Men & Her, hoping to put last week’s defeat behind them they took the first session 5-2. The second half didn’t go to planned as they found themselves a player down, thus making the score 5-4 but an all-round team performance got them over the line thanks to hat-tricks from T Whiteside & C Carson.  Best for the hosts A McMeekin 2/3.
Table-toppers The Swift travelled to take on an in-form Greenisland Working Men’s Club and paid full respect with a full squad in attendance.  Paul Roberts’ men showed why they are still unbeaten, winning both sessions 5-2 with Rab Butler putting together another fine hat-trick, Kyle Kirkwood and James Merideth completed a job well done with well taken braces. Best for the hosts H Regan 2/3.
In Whitehead, the Trojans had a night to forget as they played host to Johnny Thompson’s Scorpions. The Whiteabbey lads ran out both sessions 6-1 with M McIlvenny, D Haddock, D Whiteside and C Rafferty all bagging braces.
Dee McIlwaine'’s Teddy Bears travelled to Greenisland to take on new boys The Colts.  Harry Warwick’s lads, showing steady improvement, got to the break trailing by a single frame however the second half was a different matter as the Carrick lads took the next session 5-2. Best for the hosts H Warwick 2/3 & A Blaine 1/1 and for the visitors A Moore 2/2 & G Wylie 2/2
The Cowboys played host to the Whitehead Spartans and looked to be in cruise control as they got to the break 5-2 ahead. However, Robert Hawkins’ men dug deep taking the second session 6-1, thus securing the match. Best for the hosts H McMurtry 2/3 & T Leggett 2/3 and for the visitors D Lowe 2/2, S Johnston 2/3 & K English 2/3
Eastway played host to Clare Robert’s Warriors and had a match on their hands with the visitors taking the first half 4-3. In the second the Rathcoole lads were 5-6 down but pushed on to win the last 3 thanks to  R Whiteside & D Flanigan completing their hat-tricks, best for the visitors S Kidd 2/3 & S Lennon 2/3.
Over in Doagh, Tyler McConnell’s Weapons played host to Mark Kitson’s Alpha team.  The Weapons got off to a great start, taking the first session 5-2 but the Alpha lads & lasses took 4 out of the first 5 of the second half to level the score at 6 each.  Michael Higgins completed a fine hat-trick aided by Wayne Lewis with a now routine brace to secure the points for the lads from Doagh as well as Jeff Moore with a fine brace at the beginning of the evening. Best for the visitors a  J McComb Hat-trick, and A Carson 2/3.
