Galacticos leapfrogged Cowboys at the top of the table after a 10-4 win away to Eastway whilst Cowboys lost only their second match of the season 6-8 away to GWMSC. It constitutes a major swing in the table and Galacticos now must be most peoples favourites to go on and secure the title. Swift won 8-6 away in Whitehead against Spartans. It went to the final frame and Tom McCorry was the hero of the hour ripping out a classy eight ball clearance to secure the three points. Eddie Gribben for the hosts and Dee Irwin for the visitors both bagged hat tricks on the night. In Monkstown HM&H were in splendid form as they seen off 39ERS by 10-4 with Session scores off 6-1 and 4-3. For the hosts Sara Greenberg and Andy McMeekin both scored trebles, as did Kyle Kirkwood for the Ballyclare team. Barbarians after their good win last week, struggled against second bottom Warriors. They trailed 3-4 at the interval but took all 3 points with a narrow 8-6 victory. In Carrick GRSC, honours were even as Teddy Bears and Trojans battled out a 7-7 draw. Trojans won 4-3 in Session 1 with the Bears winning Session 2 by the same result. Best on the night was Rab McMaw scoring 3/3. Scorpions overcame bottom team Alpha by 11-3 in Whitehouse WMC.
