Castle took out some great finishes to build up a 7-2 lead at home to Spartans in this 3rd v 4th clash. But frame by frame the lead slipped away from them and Michael Wilson finished potted the final black of the match to give Spartans an unlikely point. The results suited Greenisland who took full advantage with a great 11-3 away win at the difficult to beat MSC Trojans. Rockers won 14-0, and the title is nearly in their hands now, they require just 10 points from their last 6 games to become League Champions. Michael Lowry's Barbarians were relieved to come away with a narrow win at the ever improving Alpha, whilst Teddy Bears took the honours in the Rangers Supporters Club derby match in Whitehead against Gordon McCormick's Trojans. There were 2 good away wins for HM&H at Cowboys and Scorpions at Warriors. Eastway had a bye this week.
