It was a day for the Whiteside's on Sunday 19th December as Darren won the top prize in "League Pyramid 2" and younger cousin Trevor (pictured right) won our annual "Charity Turkey Shoot" competition. Both events ran side by side in Whitehead GRSC. Darren pipped Kenny English in the Pyramid with Trevor also beating Kenny in the final of the Turkey competition.
Considering the severe weather conditions on the day, we had 17 entrants and raised £132 towards our Leagues nominated 2010/2011 Charity, "FASA"
And a big thanks to "McMasters Butchers" of Whitehead who donated the turkey and to the Rangers Club who donated a bottle of vodka for the ballot.

All Events kick off at 1.30pm in Whitehead GRSC. Players earn points at each Event plus an extra point for each Event played in if entry over 16. 2 extra points if entry under 16. After Event 5, the top 16 players will qualify for Finals Day which will be played to a finish in Knockout format on the day. There will be Prize Money at each Event for Winner and Runner Up and for the overall Winner and Runner Up on Finals Day. The Winner and Runner Up will also receive a trophy at our End of Season Prizegiving.
