Rockers 11-3 Bees
Bees took an unexpected lead with a great finish by A.Mackey, but wins from Rockers Captain J.McClean and stalwart Dn. Whiteside gave the hosts a 2-1 advantage. It was soon level as D.Montgomery beat his former team colleague from Whiteabbey RBL, R. Butler, 2-2 now. C.Carson and J.Johnston battled hard to give Rockers a 4-2 lead, but The Bees wouldn't lie down and took the last frame of the 1st half with a fine win from R.Brown. Whatever McClean said to his team in the interval must have fired them up as they thrashed The Bees 7-0 in the 2nd session to record a final score of 11-3 and more importantly keep The Rockers top of the table. Best on the night were S.Carson on 2/2 (2x 8 ball clearances) and McClean himself also on 2/2.

Monkstown 10-4 Greenisland
P.Henderson and P.Charles gave the hosts a 2-0 lead early on. S.Lennon reduced the deficit only for R.Henderson to restore Monkstown 2 frame advantage. Greenisland came back again through P.Akehurst, but S.Walker and P.Henderson again gave the home side a 5-2 lead at the interval. And Monkstown didn't take their foot of the pedal as wins from S.Walker, R.Henderson and P.Charles put them over the winning line at 8-2 and secured the 3 points. W.Morrison and H.Warwick brought it back to 8-4, but Monkstown won the last 2 of the night through G.Russell and R.Henderson. Best on the night was Monkstown's R.Henderson with 3/3.

Spartans 12-2 Scorpions
This match was a dress rehearsal for the Knockout Shield Semi Final in a fortnights time, also being played at the Whitehead GRSC. Belfast team, AW Scorpions got off to a good start, C.Howard finishing with precision in frame 1. In the next, E.McDowell was in trouble from the break but slowly and surely he edged his way back into contention and delighted his team mates when he sunk the black to level at 1-1. Spartans went 2-1 up when S.McWhirter got a second bite of the cherry against C.Rafferty and made no mistake. Frame 4 was similar to frame 2, with McDowell again in early trouble, but eventually outwitting Scorpions Captain J.Thompson, to increase the hosts lead to 3-1. R.Hawkins and S.Hamilton, both with solid wins, increased it to 5-1 as the home sides confidence began to grow. In the final frame of the first session Howard notched up his and Scorpions 2nd with a delightful clearance from a foul break. But Spartans went on the rampage in the 2nd half winning all 7 frames. McDowell with his 3rd started the rout, J.Kane then made it 7-2 to guarantee the hosts at least a point and in the 10th McWhirter finished tremendously to ensure a Spartan victory. But they weren't done just yet and further wins from D.Lowe, K.English, Hawkins and McWhirter completing his hat trick, gave Spartans their most convincing win in a long time.
