Bowlers vs Q Club.

The Bowlers welcomed Q Club to Carrickfergus for a competitive match. The visitors got off to a flying start, capitalizing on some early errors from the Bowlers to secure three quick wins. However, the home side fought back strongly, levelling the score at 3-3. Young Matthew Booysen had the chance to complete the comeback, but fellow youngster Joel Quinn held his nerve to secure his second win of the night.

After the break, Q Club took the first game, but the Bowlers responded well, winning the next two to make it 5-5.

In the closing stages, Q Club’s greater experience proved decisive as they claimed the final four games, sealing a well-earned 9-5 victory. Despite the loss, the Bowlers continue to improve, though eliminating costly mistakes and refining shot selection will be key to their progress.

A special mention goes to William Irvin for a well-executed break and dish, while Ian McMillan was undoubtedly the Bowlers’ standout player, winning all three of his matches.

In what seemed to be an epic match Times Bar Tigers had a 7-7 draw with Railway Blues.

Whiteabbey Legion had no match.
