Galacticos Stretch Their Lead at the Top Of The Table

In the 14th League match of the season, sponsored by SKC Gaming NI Ltd Galacticos stretched their lead at the top of the table with a 14-0 walkover from 11th placed Rockets To Be.

2nd placed Scorpions welcomed 8th placed Colts to The Times Bar.

Lee McIlreevey broke and sublimely dished. Colts Joe Patton soon levelled the scores. Paul Kerr regained the scorpion lead and again Colts levelled through Paul Watters. Colin Beckinsale put Colts ahead with one of the pressure finishes of the night facing 4 difficult balls and a black over the jaws. Michael Wilson Levelled at 3-3 for Scorpions and Chris Carson provided a slender 4-3 lead at half time for the home side.
Paul Kerr put Scorpions 5-3 up before Colts’ Paul Watters had a scintillating break and dish. Paul Kerr made it 6-4 and Lee McIlreevy put Scorpions on the hill with a fabulous reverse dish. Chris Carson secured the points for Scorpions and Darren Whiteside added with another reverse dish. Michael Wilson secured a 10-4 win that was much closer than the score line suggests.
