Congratulations to Scorpions' Dean Reid (pictured) on winning the 2019 Carrick & District Pool League Under 23s Individual sponsored by Times Bar.
In the final Dean was up against the talented Tommy Fleming (pictured right) from Whitehead Vikings.
The first frame went to Dean after escaping a snooker swerving to create the angle to pot the black into the middle pocket. It was soon 2-0 with an 8 ball finish. Dean made it 3-0 winning a frame both players had chances in. Tommy was unlucky to snooker himself going for a finish. Dean took full advantage and coolly made it 4-0. Dean Reid completed the 5-0 victory escaping from a snooker and potting the black he previously left over the corner pocket.
Well done Dean. Fully deserved. Unlucky Tommy.
