Scorpions 7-7 Spartans
What a match was played out by these 2 teams in the 1st Leg of the H&A Cup Final in Whiteabbey RBL. Spartans led 4-0 but Scorpions refused to buckle and stormed back to lead 7-6 with 1 to play. After the 14th and final frame was done and dusted the visitors were more than relieved to head back down to Whitehead RSC with scores level for the 2nd Leg next Monday night.

Castle kept very much in touch at the top with a solid 9-5 win away to the Jolly Beggar in Monkstown SC. They are now only 3 points behind 2nd placed Spartans with a game in hand.
