Good to go !!

The final deadline sees 15 teams registered to compete in the 2012/2013 season of the Carrick & District Pool League. Fixtures are now going to print and the countdown is now on to the opening fixture on 28th August, the Charity Shield between last seasons Champions Spartans and Runners Up The Rockers. It is the 19th season since the formation of our League and we hope to make it the best yet.

We welcome a new team into our League this term, The Jolly Beggar from Mallusk. We wish them all the best in their debut season. Roy McMurtrys Pirates are rebranding as the Cowboys as are Clare Webster's Valkyries who are now The Warriors. We also welcome 2 new Committee Members on board, Michael Lowry from the Barbarians and Sara Greenberg from Monkstown.
