Tommy Maguire's Spartans have lifted the Brian Brady Memorial Shield for the 5th time in 7 years. Finals Night was held in the Lighthouse Bar, Whiteabbey on Tuesday 20th March and after beating League Champions The Rockers, Spartans met an improving Barbarians team who had dispatched of Greenisland in their Semi Final. Spartans just done enough in the Final, but Michael Lowry can be proud of his team for reaching the Final and indeed the progress they have made after an indifferent start to the season.
